Previsualization of Movie concepts and stories

Would you like to have a say on which movie stories get filmed? Suggest an actor to cast in a role? View exclusive material on a range of interesting film projects?

We are developing an online platform that will allow users to do all that and much more. We want to create a community of film lovers who wants to visualize and read about different projects and contribute to decide what movies should be made. Now we need your opinion, feedback and input to make this community exactly what you want.

4. What are you expectations if you were to join an online community in order to rate potential movie concepts before the films are made, pre-visualize film projects and other cinema-related features?

	Yes, I would vote because I have a good knowledge and like movies.
	Yes, I would vote because I am involved in the movie industry.
	Yes, I would vote but only on movie concepts initiated by people I know.

6. What is the minimum amount of VISUAL information you would expect to see before you could assess quality of the movie concept?

	None. I can visualise the movie concept from a written description of the project.
	I would expect at least to be shown 2D storyboards (eg: like a short graphic novel or comic strip) reflecting the essence of the movie concept, supported with some written description.
	I would expect at least a 3-5 minutes video interview with the scriptwriter and/or prospective director describing his vision for the movie concept, supported with some written description.
	I would expect at least a 3-5 minutes teaser video of the movie concept, supported with some written description.

7. What is the minimum amount of WRITTEN description about the movie concept and story you would expect to read before you could assess the quality of the movie concept?

	None. The visuals of the movie concept are more informative than the written description.
	I require the entire movie script (ranging from 70-90 pages).
	I only require extracts of the key parts of the movie concept.
	1 page synopsis of the movie concept.
	An opinion given by a known person in the film industry about the movie concept.

8. What level of involvement and interaction do you want to have at the concept stage of a movie?

	None. I do not want any involvement or say in developing the movie concept. I am happy to wait until the movie comes out in the cinemas.
	I consider it important that the public has a say in the movies that are made, especially if government grants are being used to make these movies.
	I would like to have an online chat/forum with the prospective director and screenplay writer.
	I would like to provide feedback and influence these movie concepts.
	I am happy just rating the movie concepts. I prefer not to have any interaction with the production team for any movie.

9. What kind of movies would you be most interested in voting for and rating?

	Geographical: I would vote and rate the movie projects which will be made in (or will be about) the country I live in or in countries that interest me.
	Language: I would vote for movie projects only in the languages I understand.
	Genre: I would vote for movies of a genre or topic that interests me such as romantic comedy, action, thriller or documentary.
	Non-discriminatory: I am interested in all movie concepts and I would vote and rate all of them.

10. After you have voted and rated the movie concepts, does it interest you to know what happens to it and if it gets made?

	No. I am not interested in what happens to the project. If it gets made, I will see it in the cinemas.
	Yes, I would like to follow the progress (through newsletter or website) of the projects which I have rated highly.
	Yes, I would like to receive the progress (through twitter o email) of the projects which I have rated.
	Yes, I would like to follow the progress of the project which I have rated highly because, if possible, I may want to invest and own a stake in that movie.
